WILLIAMS LAKE, B — C.-- Ken Jorgensen of Surrey, B.C. in the #57 Abney Roofing Chevy wins Katana Thunder Mountain, Williams Lake.
Ken used horses of a different style to battle #29 Brent Morris of Victoria, B.C. in the 440 Gord Auto Repair Chevy to score $2,500 cash in first prize money during the Williams Lake Stampede weekend. Third place went to #12 Kalvin Louden of Penticton, B.C. in his first Katana appearance in 2009.
Unfortunately, weather conditions caused the cancellation of time trials and heat races, but the race held off for the full 100 laps of the main event.
