ANTELOPE, California — Drive for Diversity driver Paulie Harraka, driver of the No. 12 NAPA AutoCare/Adaptive One Brakes/Copart Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing, has two top-five finishes this season at short tracks. Last season he recorded eleven wins in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and won the track championship at All American Speedway. In his first West Series race at All American Speedway, Harraka put the No. 12 entry from BMR on the pole. He has started on the front row twice this season. Harraka looks to put the No. 12 once again on the front row and record his first series win.
The nineteen-year old rising sophomore at Duke University and rookie of the year contender is currently seventh in the chase for the championship and only 18 points out of the top-five.
The NASCAR Camping World Series West King Taco “200” will run on July 4th at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale and be televised July 16th on SPEED Channel’s Racing Across America noon pacific time. Please check your local listings.
