ANTELOPE, California — Drive for Diversity driver Paulie Harraka, pilot of the No. 12 NAPA AutoCare/Adaptive One Brakes Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing is heading to the great stats of Utah to the Miller Motorsports Park for the Miller Motorsports Park “125” on Saturday August 1st. This will be the third visit for the NASCAR CWS West to the track.
"Hopefully, Miller Motorsports Park will be the place where we finally get Lady Luck to smile at us and we can bring home a win for our NAPA AutoCare Toyota team and the Drive for Diversity Program,” said Harraka. “I really enjoy racing on road courses, as it throws a unique set of challenges at our race team."
Harraka ran in the top three at the last road course race in Portland and at the road course race at Infineon. Both tracks were new to the young rookie. Both races had Harraka suffer late in the race setbacks; one with a flat tire and one recovering from being spun only to get caught up in a wreck in the closing laps. It’s been a learning curve for the Duke University sophomore but Harraka is a great student and looks to keep the No. 12 NAPA AutoCare Toyota Camry poised for a podium finish.
Harraka is fifth in the NASCAR Camping World Series West standings. He is also a contender for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award.
