ALGER, Washington — Local 360 teams at Skagit Speedway will face a new challenge Friday and Saturday at this year's Bob's Burgers and Brew 360 Nationals. Louisiana's Jason Johnson and Texas driver Travis Rilat lead a strong contingent of national touring drivers who have set their sights on the top prize.
Defending Bob's Burgers & Brew 360 Nationals title holder Travis Rutz, Budweiser 360 Division point's leader Brock Lemley, division champion Brian Kirkpatrick will take on outsiders Johnson, Rilat, Tennessee's Paul McMahan, and Arkansas Tim Crawley in quest of the $10,000 first place prize.
Local touring starts Chad Hillier and Jason Solwold will also be a factor for the win as well as other teams from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Canada. Competitors will qualify and race on Friday to accumulate points that will set the field for main events on Saturday.
Hornet drivers from around the region will also converge on Skagit Speedway for the dirt version of Hornet Nationals both nights. The Swatzina family, Freddie Vela, Tyler Ketchum and Rick Young lead the hometown favorites.
Friday general admission is $17; kids under six are free. Saturday admission is $20 for adults. Events start at 7pm both nights.
