Antelope, California – “We had an awesome Hasa Pool Products Toyota Camry,” said Moses Smith, driver of the No. 16 Hasa Pool Products/White Flyer Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing. Smith qualified the Camry in tenth and finished in third at Colorado National Speedway. He also received the Coca-Cola Move of the Race Award for gaining the most positions. This finish moved Smith up to sixth in the chase for the championship and only 83 points out of the top five.

Smith has three top-ten finishes at the .375-mile oval just north of Denver, Colorado. He paced himself for the first half of the 150-lap race event. Smith moved the No. 16 Hasa Toyota up to fifth at lap 79. Less than 20 laps later, he was running in fourth and at lap 107, moved into third. As the laps waned down, the two front runners opened a wide margin between Smith and themselves. The race finished without a caution during the last 55 laps.
“We had to be patient,” continued Smith. “We didn’t get the starting position we really wanted. We knew we needed to save our equipment thru the first half of the race. We finished in third by picking off one car at a time. It was great racing running two-wide and three rows deep.”
