ANTELOPE, California — Eric Holmes, pilot of the No. 20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota Camry, and the NASCAR Camping World Series West championship team is heading east back to Iowa Speedway for the Central Iowa Building & Construction Trades “125”. The series will be in Iowa with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

“The No. 20 NAPA Toyota team is looking forward to returning to Iowa,” said Holmes. He had a solid run going earlier this season at Iowa Speedway when there was a spin in front of Holmes resulting in a multi car accident as cars tried to avoid each other. The No. 20 NAPA Toyota sustained severe damage ending the team’s day early. “We’re looking forward to showing the fans what the No. 20 NAPA Toyota team is all about. We’re in this to win every race and win back to back West Series championships.”
The NAPA team has four NCWS West championships. They are currently running in second place and only 37 point out of first. Holmes has three wins this season and six top-five finishes.
“Iowa Speedway hasn’t been the NAPA team’s strongest venue but we are ready to remedy that this weekend. Our BMR team has worked hard to put together a great NAPA Toyota Camry. We’re going to do everything we can to put the NAPA Toyota in Victory Lane and give NAPA a fifth championship title.”
The NASCAR Camping World Series West race, the Central Iowa Building & Construction Trades “125” will be at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa on Sept. 4. The race will be televised on September 4th on SPEED TV at noon pacific time. Check your local listings.
