MULLER BENEFITS FROM MILLER’S FLAT TIRE
Track safety and fire crews burn off the spilled fuel from the over turned Modified Race car of Vancouver's Russell Schultz. The race car was removed from the track before the fuel was lighted.

ELMA, Washington — Montesano’s Josh Muller had lady luck come his way when race leader Scott Miller of Shelton cut a tire and had to go to the pits with just three laps left in the Ship Wreck Beads “Modifieds: 25-lap feature race Saturday night at Grays Harbor Raceway.

When Hoquiam’s Zack doesn’t start at the front of the pack, it usually doesn’t take him long to get to the front. If Simpson starts on the front row, it’s all over but the shouting and that was the case Saturday night. Simpson led from start to finish in the Cut Rate Auto Parts “Hobby Stocks” 20-lap main event for his 12th feature win in 14 tries.

Snohomish’s Seth Hespe only led one lap in the Triple X Racing “Ford Focus Midgets” 20-lap feature, and that that the was the lap that counted the most, the final lap.

Steve Moore of Scio, OR. took over the lead in the Mountain Dew/Amp Energy “Warriors of Dirt Late Models” time shortened 40-lap feature race on lap-10 and then survived three caution flag restarts before the finish for the victory.
