ANTELOPE, California — Two top-ten finishes in as many starts at Iowa Speedway for driver Moses Smith, pilot of the No. 16 Hasa Pool Products Toyota Camry. He’ll be looking to put the No. 16 Toyota Camry on the podium back to back after a third place finish at the NASCAR Camping World Series West most recent race in Colorado. The driver from Bill McAnally Racing is currently running in sixth in the chase for the series championship and only 85 points out of the top five.
Smith has four top-five finishes this year and would like to add a win to his record. Iowa Speedway is just the place he would like to do that. The West Series race will be the companion race with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
“We are ready to win this,” said Smith. “The Hasa team with crew chief Mario Isola has been making gains towards our goal of winning races. We have momentum coming off of the race in Colorado and now we just need to capitalize on it. The Hasa Toyota team is working well together and our progress will be seen this weekend.”
The NASCAR Camping World Series West race, the Central Iowa Building & Construction Trades “125” will be at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa on Sept. 4. The race will be televised on September 4th on SPEED TV at noon pacific time. Check your local listings.
