Set forth below are the NASCAR race summaries from TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale for Saturday, September 5, 2009:

Southwest Tour Trucks

Dalton Kuhn of San Marcos took the lead from Christian Copley of Santa Ynez when his right front tire went flat and went on to win the Southwest Tour Truck Series 40-lap feature race Saturday night (September 5) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Kuhn’s fourth at TOYOTA Speedway. Copley nursed his truck around the track to take the checkered flag for a second place finish and maintained his division points lead. Jeff Williams finished third.

Legends Cars

Dallas Montes of Bakersfield took the lead from Brent Scheidemantle of Alta Loma on lap 34 and went on to win the Legends Cars 35-lap feature race Saturday night (September 5) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Montes victory was his third in as many races. Scheidemantle finished second, 0.176 of a second behind the winner. Division championship points leader Ryan Reed of Bakersfield finished third

King Taco Super Trucks

Rod Johnson Jr. of Canyon Country remains red hot winning the King Taco Super Trucks 40-lap feature race Saturday night (September 5) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Johnson scored his second consecutive victory and sixth of the season and moved him into second place in the point standings, within six points of division championship points leader Pat Mintey Jr. of Quartz Hill. Ryan Partridge of Rancho Cucamonga finished second and Jeff Peterson of Riverside finished third.

Auto Club Late Models

Mike Johnson of Covina started from the front row and led the entire race winning the NASCAR Auto Club Late Model 50-lap feature race Saturday night (September 5) at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. It was Johnson’s fourth consecutive victory moving him into second in the division standings and within 26 points of division championship points leader Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills who finished sixth. Travis Motley of Tucson, Ariz. finished second, his best in Late Model competition and rookie Beau DeBard of Reno, Nev. finished third. Tim Huddleston damaged his car in a first lap incident and finished 14th.
