Race #1
Travis Irving of Corona started from the pole and led the entire race winning the first race of the NASCAR Auto Club Late Model 40-lap feature twin bill Saturday night (September 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was his second of the season. Travis Motley of Tucson, Ariz. finished second and division points leader Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills finished third. Mike Johnson’s four-race win streak came to an end when he finished 17th. The Covina resident was rear ended by Dallas Colodny on a restart late in the race suffering a flat tire and suspension damage.

Travis Irving won the second Auto Club Late Model race sweeping the twin feature race twin bill Saturday night (September 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Tim Huddleston returned to the podium for the first time in six races finishing second. Rookie Beau DeBard of Reno, Nevada finished third. Nick Joanides maintains his division Championship points lead and finished in fourth place while Huddleston moved back into second place in the points standings. Mike Johnson finished in tenth place.

Dalton Kuhn of San Marcos won the Southwest Tour Trucks race Saturday night (September 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Kuhn’s victory was his fifth victory in six races at TOYOTA Speedway. Jeff Williams of Newberry finished second and overall series points leader Christian Copley of Santa Ynez finished third.

Larry Cerquettini of Redlands took the lead early and went on to win the 35-lap Vista Paint Super Stocks feature race Saturday night (September 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Cerquettini who leads the division championship point standings scored his eighth victory of the season. Ken Brown of Cherry Valley finished second and Eric Sunness of Chatsworth finished third.

Division champion points leader Pat Mintey Jr. of Quartz Hill won the King Taco Super Trucks 40-lap feature race Saturday night (September 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Mintey scored his fourth victory of the season but it wasn’t easy as Ryan Partridge of Rancho Cucamonga and Rod Johnson Jr. of Canyon Country battled Mintey for the lead during the final laps of the race. Mintey edged Partridge at the finish line by 0.127 of a second while Johnson finished third, 0.215 of a second behind the winner.
