CHARLOTTE, North — Carolina -- On Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. EST Roush Fenway Racing located in Concord, NC will host the First Annual Greg Biffle Foundation Day.
The event, designed for race fans and animal lovers alike, will feature autograph sessions by NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers and members of the media pictured in the 2010 NASCAR Pets Calendar including Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Casey Mears, Carl Edwards, Bob Dillner and Shannon Spake, a live broadcast of Tradin’ Paint with Chocolate Myers and Rick Benjamin airing on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio, informational sessions with Downunder Horsemanship host Clinton Anderson, entertainment from the NC Agility Dogs, booths hosted by local pet care vendors, 3M product giveaways, live musical entertainment from local musicians Below the Belt and much more!
There is no charge for admission, however a pet food drive is being held to supply local shelters and rescue groups with much needed supplies. Everyone is encouraged to bring a pet food donation, and the first 500 to do so will receive a Greg Biffle Foundation car decal.
There will be two autograph sessions featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Drivers, the first will be held at 11:15 A.M. including Casey Mears and Matt Kenseth and the second at 2:00 P.M including Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards. You MUST have a 2010 NASCAR Pets Calendar to receive an autograph. They will be for sale on site. Wristbands will be distributed beginning at 9 A.M. and the first 250 fans to register for each session will be accommodated. Media autograph sessions will be held throughout the afternoon and will be open to the general public in attendance.
The Greg Biffle Foundation was founded in 2005 by Greg and Nicole Biffle to create awareness and serve as an advocate to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motor sports industry. In 2008 the Foundation awarded grant funding to 112 shelters and rescue groups nationwide for programs like spaying and neutering, adoption and general operating expenses.
