BMR DRIVER HARRAKA RECORDS A SECOND NCWS WEST WIN
A very Paulie Harraka in the NASCAR West Series' Victory Lane at All American Speedway

ANTELOPE, Ca — Student Driver” Paulie Harraka went to the head of the class by winning the season finale at the home track of Bill McAnally Racing: All American Speedway in Roseville, California. A sold out crowd cheered for their 2008 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model track champ as he led all but one lap of the 150-lap race in the NASCAR Camping World Series West race: the Toyota/Copart “150”.

"All American Speedway has the best fans."Paulie Harraka

Drive for Diversity driver Harraka finished fourth in the chase for the NASCAR Camping World Series West championship and clinched the coveted Sunoco Rookie-of-the-Year Award. He also recorded his first “21 MEANS 21 POLE AWARD BY COORS BREWING CO.” He was the only rookie to start on the pole this season in the series.

The victory at All American is his second NCWS West win in the last three races.

"This is great," Harraka said after winning the race. "I definitely had the Toyota to do it. The No. 12 NAPA AutoCare Toyota Camry was good enough that I could run it easy in the beginning and still hold onto the lead. As time wore on, everybody else wore out their stuff and I was able to keep up my pace. That really showed because everybody just dropped off a lot more than we did. I was able to stretch out a pretty big lead at the end."

“Winning in front of the hometown crowd made it all that more special. All American Speedway has the best fans. I can’t thank the NAPA AutoCare team from BMR enough. Crew chief Duane Knorr and the boys back at the shop always do and great job with the No. 12 Toyota and it shows in our results.”

The NASCAR Camping World Series West race, the Toyota/Copart “150” from All American Speedway will be televised on October 8th on SPEED TV at noon pacific time. The race can also be seen on October 9th at 10 am PST, on October 12th at 1 am PST and on October 19th at noon PST. Check your local listings.

The No. 12 NAPA AutoCare Toyota Camry team would like to thank their race partners NAPA AutoCare, Toyota, Tony Oddo Engines (T.O.E.), Copart, Mike Curb Records and their fans for all of their support this season. The next race will be on January 29 – 30 at the Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California. The track will once again host the 2010 NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown.
