Jacob Gomes who in his first year of NASCAR Late Model competition won the 2009 Whelen All-American Series Rookie of the Year award, will make his debut in the SRL racing series October 3rd at Stockton 99 Speedway.
"I'm looking forward to this race," Gomes said. "These cars have a lot more horsepower than my late model, which will be a great experience that helps me move up in my racing career."
Jake will start in several SRL events including Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on October 10th.
