In an effort to compete a full season in the NASCAR Camping World Series West division, Team Cass Racing (TCR) has hired Auggie Vidovich to pilot the number 50 car during the 2010 season. Vidovich currently drives for Roush Fenway Racing as back up for Carl Edwards’ Nationwide car.

“We at Team Cass Racing (TCR) are very excited to have Auggie Vidovich come on the team as our driver. We look forward to his talents and contributions to the team as a whole. Auggie's experiences should help with our team’s growth and advancement in the NASCAR Camping World Series West. We look forward to a great 2010,” said team owner Terri Cass.
Vidovich, who won the Elite Division South West championship in 2003, will bring two new members to the team. Additionally, Roger Bracken will be returning to TCR as Crew Chief, with Brian Schaffer staying on as Assistant Crew Chief.
TCR finished the 2009 season in nineteenth place with only five starts; however, they plan to race a full schedule in 2010 in order to compete for the championship.
