Recorded on November 7, 2009 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway using a Flip Video camcorder. Ricky is a 21 year old late model stock car driver from Murrieta, CA and was at The Bullring to compete in the open comp stock car race. Ricky is a paraplegic who was injured in a motocross accident when he was 16 years old. This is part 1 of a two part video. In this segment Ricky tells his story; in part 2, Ricky demonstrates how he gets into his stock car and how he accelerates, gets on the brakes, and shifts.
