We’ve gotten interest and inquiries everywhere from the Carolinas to British Columbia and it seemed that we could make things much easier with a rules clarification”, Ebert continues “The new rules will make things simple and easy for everyone to follow, they put an end to any confusion and will make this simple and competitive for all the teams expressing interest.”
The New Tucson Raceway Park Super Late Model Rules for January 8th and 9th,2010:
2950 Minimum Weight 56% LS Weight
Chevy, Ford and Dodge Crates 125 lb weight break with open carb.
Ride Height 4 inches
Maximum Track Width 68 Inches
Open Motors one 390 Carb must fit go/no go gauges.
No Jericho’s, third gear minimum 1.23.
No spring in trailing arms.
No carbon fiber except body parts
Bodies must meet ABC or TRP rules spoiler maximum 60 inches and 6.5 inches in height.
No aluminum driveshaft or axles.
No traction control or tire softner, tires must be purchased from TRP and will be impounded overnight on 1/8/10.
Rules may be adjusted for competition by TRP officials at any time of event.
