DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — ASA Transcontinental Series, LLC has announced a partnership with the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort to host the winner of the Miss Free State 500 beauty contest. The winner and a friend will enjoy a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World® Resort that includes the opportunity to visit its four famous theme parks, two water parks, and the Downtown Disney® area.
The finals of the Miss Free State 500 beauty contest will take place on Friday, January 29, 2010 at a gala banquet in Welkom, Free State, South Africa two days before the inaugural ASA Transcontinental Series Free State 500k stock car event at the Phakisa Freeway Circuit Oval on Sunday, January 31, 2010.
The 2010 Miss Free State 500 will receive a trip to the United States for two and enjoy a visit to one of the more popular magical destinations in the World and stay at the stunning Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.

The ASA Transcontinental Series Free State 500 will be contested on the 1.5-mile tri-oval Phakisa Freeway Circuit in Welkom, Free State, South Africa on Sunday, January 31, 2010. The 207 lap (500 km) event will feature a diverse group of drivers from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa competing in full size body stock cars. This will be the first time that American style stock cars will be competing on the oval and it will also be the first race event ever on the oval itself that was built in 1998.
