ALEX HAASE HAD STRONG RUN UNTIL MISHAP

Alex came home to compete in the Toyota Showdown in his family owned super late model. He had a great car right out of the trailer and was fastest in the Thursday night practice session. He qualified 2nd fastest with a 17-941 which put him on the outside pole. He was just biding his time as there were a lot of cautions throughout the race. He was able to lead a few laps, and on one of the restarts he had an issue with his shift and that put him back a few spots. He was running 3rd at the time that he was involved in an incident with the 4th place car that put him into the wall and ended both their nights.

“I know that it wasn’t an intentional thing, but just frustrating to know that we both had great cars and now both are destroyed.” stated Alex. “We will put it back together and come back next year to give them another run. I would like to thank my dad for all the hard work he put into this car, he not only built the car he also built the motor.”

We would like to thank everybody that helped, Spotter Joe, Chris, Scooter, Mulberry Joe Farre, Troy and mom and dad. Alex will now head to Speedweeks to run the Super Late Model for Kyle Busch Motorsports. To keep up to date on Alex visit his website at alexhaase.com
