RAUDMAN LOOKING FOR THIRD STRAIGHT BUD POLE AWARD THIS WEEKEND

Rancho Santa Margarita, California -- Craig Raudman, driver of Dave Reed Racing's #2 Yerf-dog Fun Karts/ITPS Chevrolet in the Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring and NASCAR Winston West Series, heads to this Sunday's Starnursery.com 250 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the confidence of a season already brimming with success.

His goal this weekend? A win, of course, but Raudman would also like to set fast time for the third consecutive Southwest Series event.

Raudman won the Bud Pole Award in the April 21st event at Irwindale Speedway with a lap time of 17. 692 seconds around the half-mile oval, and at Cajon Speedway in March.

He was also holding the fastest qualifying time for the April 7th event at Mesa Marin Raceway when a rainout was called before the qualifying runs could be completed. That event has been rescheduled to June 2, and all cars will be re-qualified at that time.

Raudman and the team will draw on their incredible performance at the April 21st Irwindale event, where Raudman took and held a strong lead throughout the first two-thirds of the race, eventually finishing a close second.

In last September's Starnursery.com 250 at The Bullring, Raudman led 186 of 250 laps after setting a new track record with a qualifying lap of 14.527 seconds.

"We're really having a good time so far this year," Raudman said of he and the team. "Tracy and the guys are doing an awesome job with the car. We've come out strong all year long, and we can't wait to get on the track this weekend."

The green flag drops at 2:00 p.m. this Sunday to start the Starnursery.com 250. Qualifying begins at 11:00 a.m.

Fans can personally wish Raudman luck on Saturday night at the NASCAR Café, where he will be available for autographs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
