QUOTES FROM TOP-THREE FINISHERS
Winnning car - Dave Reed (owner No. 2 Yerf-dog/ITPS Monte Carlo) “It feels really good to redeem, ourselves after leading all those 200 laps the last time we were out here, to pull off a win in this 250 lapper is awesome. This is our 10th pole and our 12th win.”
Second place car - Eddie McKean (driver of the No. 19 Magic Valley Pipe and Steel Pontiac): “We finished 2nd we had the race won and blew it in the last five laps. We run a Victory Circle car and both Craig Raudman and Tracy Norman give us a lot of help and we are running for rookie-of-the-year-this year and hope we have shown that we have the potential to win. We could use some sponsors to help us make all the races.”
Third place car - Mark Reed (driver of the No. 04 Food 4 Less Pontiac) “The Food 4 Less car was awesome today unfortunately we had brake problems, early on and a short in the electrical system early. Then we suffered a right rear tire, and found ourselves 3 laps down. We made up two laps under green and came home in third place. That is what racing is all about. We just didn’t have our brakes today or might have had the win. The team never gave up we came home 3rd place and made a bad day a good day.”![]()
