Team Top Kart USA and Miinch Motorsports driver Taylor Miinch will look to battle for two titles at this coming weekend’s Championship Karting International Florida Cup presented by Supertune USA and DeFrancesco Racing. Taking place at the Homestead Karting Complex in southern Florida, Miinch has shown the speed it takes to win in the first two series rounds and will look to stand atop the podium in round three.
“I am excited for the last round of the series,” expressed Miinch from his home in California. “We have had some great results, and I am very confident heading into the final round. I have been able to win in both classes in the series and will look to do that again this weekend.”
The Californian driver will again be pulling double duty in the Sunshine State, as he will compete in both the Rotax Senior and CKI TaG Senior divisions. Utilizing a Top Kart chassis in both classes, Miinch will be powered by P1 Engines also in both classes.
Miinch currently leads the CKI TaG Senior championship battle a mere two points ahead of IndyCar star Dan Wheldon. The talented senior rookie has finished on the podium in every final entered and will look to continue that streak this weekend and claim the title.
Miinch will also do battle in the hotly contested Rotax Senior class. The champion of this division will walk away with a brand new Mazda 3 and though Miinch sits third in the title chase, he mathematically still has a shot at the title. Sitting only 54 points out of the lead, Miinch will have to have an outstanding weekend while hoping his championship rivals falter.
