Kingston's Strategic OEM business unit will provide Advantage Memory with an array of services in procurement, manufacturing, testing and logistics management. Advantage Memory will focus on sales, marketing, and cultivating business relationships with key OEMs. Together the two companies will become one of the largest suppliers in the $4-billion industrial OEM market space that sells into the non-mainstream PC market.
``Each respective company has very similar business practices and corporate culture, which is important to our business relationship,'' said Al Soni, Vice President, Strategic Alliances, Kingston. ``We are excited to work with Advantage to increase memory capacity for the Industrial OEM market. With the state of the current memory market, joining hands with a partner, like Advantage equals a stronger business offering,'' added Soni.
