This will be the start of year two for the merged series. The new Northwest Late Model Tour is comprised of the former Late Model Challenge Series and the Northwest Tour. This season the series has 12 races on its 2010 schedule, covering three Northwest States and Canada.
The pre-registration format put in place in 2009 remains and is now open for the March 27 event.
As in the past this opener draws a lot of interest from the top drivers in the Northwest and Canada. Last year’s opener had 34-cars pre-registered.
The cone (Splitter) restarts that became so popular in 2009 will remain for the 2010 season along with the free pass.
This year’s series champion will add their name to a very prestigious list of champions such as: Garrett Evans, Gary Lewis, Pete Harding to name just a few.
