FARIA WINS AT HANFORD, TAKES POINT LEAD TO BAKERSFIELD MARCH 27TH B

SANTA MARIA, Ca — MARCH 15, 2010… After scoring the victory last Saturday night at Hanford’s Giant Chevrolet Speedway, Tipton’s “Hollywood” Danny Faria Jr. now sits atop the point standings with the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series.

Piloting his Borges Farms #17V Tom Rietz powered Maxim, Faria finished ahead of Fresno’s T.J. Smith, Kerman’s Davey Pombo, Visalia’s Jace VanderWeerd, and Rusty Carlile from Bakersfield. For his efforts, Faria also earned “Best Passing Job” honors for his victory after starting sixteenth.

The USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series would like to thank Southwest Contractors, Hoosier Tire, Amsoil, BR Motorsports, Cory Kruseman's Sprint Car & Midget Driving School, Crow Enterprizes, DJ Safety, Extreme Mufflers, Hinchman-Indy Racing Uniforms, Kaeding Performance, and Saferacer.com for their support.

Round three for the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series will be held on Saturday night, March 27th, at Bakersfield Speedway in Oildale, California. Also on the “Free Pepsi Night” card are the California Lightning Sprints, NMRA TQ Midgets, and Hobby Stocks. The Front Gates will open at 4:30pm with Racing at 6:00pm. Adult tickets are $15, Kids tickets 6-12 are $5, and Children’s tickets (5 and under) are FREE. The Pit Gate will open at 1:00pm.
