KALISPELL, Mont — (March 17, 2010)-Officials with Montana Raceway Park will host a drivers registration and general membership meeting on March 20 at the Fun Beverage Conference Center located south of Kalispell just off Highway 93.
Beginning at 11 a.m. drivers and crew members will be able to register their car numbers and file proper paperwork with the track's office staff to secure membership for the 2010 racing season.
Schedule information, rule updates and other information will be provided to race teams at 1 p.m. with the day wrapping up at 2. Informational brochures and a limited number of poster-size schedules will be available for teams to provide their sponsors.
"This is an important meeting to attend for anyone interested in racing or taking part in our sport as a crew member," said general manager and promoter Justin Rody. "Officials will be on hand to answer technical questions that a current or future team would have and the promotional material we have for the teams is a great way to promote the facility at a sponsor's place of business while at the same time boosting that sponsors interest in their support of the drivers and teams."
Driver information forms are available on the tracks website and can be downloaded and turned in at the meeting, Rody added.
Media day and spring practice is set for April 24 with the Coca-Cola Season Opener set for May 8.
