ROSEVILLE, California In Times When Race Drivers Are Agonizing Over Sponsorships And Fuel Prices — it hasn’t kept them away from the season opening at All American Speedway (AAS), in Roseville, on March 27. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series (Toyota/NAPA Bonus Challenge presented by A-All Mini Storage) and the SPEARS SRL Tour (Mo’s Gold 125 presented by Ameripride Uniform Services) will have a full field of cars on the track.
Both Eric Holmes, #20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota, and Paulie Harraka, #12 NAPA Gold Filters Toyota, will be racing for repeats at AAS. Holmes took the win in the 2008 and 2009 season openers at the Speedway and finished second for the season. Harraka, Sunoco Rookie of the Year, claimed victory in the season finale last year at AAS.
Other 2009 K&N Pro Series Top Ten drivers taking the track on Saturday are Greg Pursley (3rd) in the #26GPM Performing Parts Ford, David Mayhew (6th) in the #17 MMI Services Chevy, and Blake Koch (8th) in the #21 Daystar Chevy. Joining his Bill McAnally Racing teammates will be Moses Smith (7th) in the #16 Hasa Pool Products Toyota, who was voted the Most Popular Driver of the Series for 2008 and 2009.
There will be an optional practice on the track Friday, March 26, with qualifying on Saturday, March 27 when the grandstands open at 3 p.m.
Tickets are available. Adult general admission is $35, Junior general admission age 6-11 is $15, and VIP Race and Hospitality packages are $70. Pit Passes (Friday practice and Saturday race) are available at $50 for general public and $45 for NASCAR members. Save $5 on adult tickets by purchasing in advance at www.billmcanallyracing.com.
