MODESTO, California — 2003 NASCAR Southwest Series Elite champion Auggie Vidovich will be back behind the wheel of the Bob Strandwold Racing #1 Chevrolet for the 2010 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series. Vidovich will begin his 2010 SRL campaign this Saturday in the Mo'sGold 125 at All-American Speedway in Roseville.

Vidovich who drove to one SRL victory in 2009 for BSR, will be back in the same car that holds the track record at Roseville under the guidance of 2007 SRL championship crew chief Jeff Strandwold. " Jeff and Junior Joiner have worked well together getting the car ready and we’re looking forward to a good showing this weekend." stated Strandwold. “The plan at this time is to have Auggie competing full-time in SRL this year along with his BSR teammates Derek Thorn and K&N Pro Series driver Jonathan Gomez.
Both Vidovich and Gomez will pull double duty this Saturday in Roseville, driving in both the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series and K&N Pro Series event.
