WEST PALM BEACH, Florida - For Florida native Blake Koch, being a NASCAR driver is much more than strapping behind the wheel of a race car and racing side by side at insane speeds. In the eyes of Koch and those who surround him, being a professional race car driver is a God given talent and the 24-year-old second year NASCAR driver is sharing the faith that has driven him to success in the form of his very own outreach program.

"The biggest part of our racing program is the outreach events we do to help bring people to know Jesus. We don't sit there preaching all day, we simply plant the seed and let God do the rest."Blake Koch

Working in collaboration with the DayStar Television Network and the well known faith driven website, Iamsecond.com, Koch and his outreach team is networking with the NASCAR community at a numerous Sprint Cup events and this incredible project has only just begun. This coming weekend will mark the second sprint cup outreach event of the year for Blake Koch Racing as they travel to Phoenix International Raceway to reach out to thousands of fans that will be attending the Subway Freshfit 600 on April 10th at the popular one-mile tri-oval.

With their impressive show car and hauler on hand at Phoenix International Raceway's vendor row, Koch and his outreach team will meet with thousands of race fans, families and team members during the weekend. In addition to manynew personalities they will meet, they will be spreading the word of God to the racing community both verbally and in the form of numerous materials that are provided by the collaboration of the DayStar Television Network, I am Second and Blake Koch Racing.

"The biggest part of our racing program is the outreach events we do to help bring people to know Jesus. We don't sit there preaching all day, we simply plant the seed and let God do the rest," said Koch. "The seed is - setting a great example, leading them to watch the Daystar Television Network, handing out the I am Second materials and simply being humble and kind. It is my personal goal to give the NASCAR fans an opportunity to know Jesus better and show them how it has impacted my life and how happy I am with Jesus by my side."

Blake Koch is in his sophomore racing season as a NASCAR driver. The former late model and speedway truck racer drives primarily for the Northern California based Golden Gate Racing, Richard Childress Driver Development team in the NASCAR K&N Pro West Series and will be competing in five NASCAR Nationwide Races in the year to come. One of Koch's most recently recognized accomplishment was a drive from 35th to 3rd in the Tire Kingdom 150, his first ever ARCA Road Course event at Palm Beach International Raceway driving for Eddie Sharp Racing.

While he has great talent behind the wheel of a race car, Koch also posses the ability to reach out to the racing community in a sincere, fashionable approach to educate others on what faith has done for his own life. He is a very unique personality in the sport as he is one of the first drivers sponsored by several faith based organizations including the DayStar Television Network and I Am Second.

"Every time I climb in the car I pray and I ask God to drive this car through me," are words Koch has echoed time and time again. "Through my hands, my feet and in my heart and I just ask him to put this car where he wants it to be. When you drive these cars how can you not be close to God. I love Jesus more than I love racing and I want everyone to know that."

Blake Koch will be at the Phoenix International Raceway for much of the week to come. On Thursday April 8th he takes to the track aboard the Golden Gate Racing Team-Richard Childress Racing owned Daystar Television Network #21 Chevrolet that is also sponsored by outreach partners I am Second and Tire Kingdom to compete in the Jimmie Johnson Foundation 100.

Following the second event in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series season, Koch will remain in the city of the sun with his outreach team to address auto racing's biggest audience as the fans, teams and the thousands of media members arrive for Sprint Cup competition, the nation's most popular spectator sport.

The Blake Koch Outreach tour began in March with its debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway, an event that was deemed a huge success. Following their Phoenix appearance the tour will travel to Texas Motor Speedway on April 18th for the Samsung Mobile 500 Sprint Cup event.
