HARRAKA BACK TO TOYOTA SPEEDWAY

ANTELOPE, California — Drive for Diversity participant Paulie Harraka will be returning to a track that he has done well at. Piloting the No. 12 NAPA Gold Filters Toyota Camry to a second podium finish would be the icing on the cake after coming off a second place finish at the road course of Infineon Raceway. The Bill McAnally Racing driver is heading west from Duke University to make it happen.

In his rookie year, Harraka recorded a third place finish and increased his drive towards his goal of achieving the 2009 Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award. Mission accomplished and another great finish at the fastest short-track in the west would give him momentum towards achieving his second goal of winning the 2010 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship. He heads to Irwindale, California third in the chase and 79 points out of 2nd.

"Now that we've shaken the black cloud off of our NAPA Gold Filters Toyota team,” said Harraka, “we need to keep the momentum rolling! Toyota Speedway is unlike any other track that we go to, and it's all about carrying momentum and riding right next to the concrete wall there. We finished 3rd at Irwindale last season, and I'm really looking forward to going back this year."

The King Taco “200” is this Saturday night, July 3rd and there will be fireworks for the fans on the track and after the race event. The 200-lap race will be presented by SPEED Channel on Thursday July 15th at 3 pm PST.
