FIREWORKS AND STOCK CAR RACING THURSDAY NIGHT AT THE BULLRING AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

LAS VEGAS -- The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt oval, presents its annual Independence Day Weekend spectacular – The Night of Fire – on Thursday, July 1.

Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. with racing at 4:30 p.m. Fireworks at approximately 10:15 p.m.

• Jet Car burn (the complete destruction of a junk automobile by a jet-powered dragster)

• $1 hot dogs

• $1 beer

• SMRA Supermodifieds

• MetroPCS Super Late Models

• USAC Midgets

• Legend Cars

• Bandoleros

Schedule: Thursday, July 1

4 p.m. – Spectator gates open.

4:30 p.m.

USAC Jr. Focus heat races (8 laps).

Bomber heat races (8 laps).

Charger heat races (8 laps).

USAC Midget heat races (8 laps).

5:30 p.m. – Legend Cars Developmental feature (15 laps or 15 minutes).

5:45 p.m. – Bandolero Bandit feature (12 laps or 12 minutes).

6 p.m. – Bandolero Outlaw feature (12 laps or 12 minutes).

6:15 p.m. – Thunder Roadster feature (15 laps or 15 minutes).

6:30 p.m. – USAC Jr. Focus feature (20 laps or 20 minutes).

7 p.m. – National anthem and opening ceremonies.

7:05 p.m. – Budweiser Dash for Supermodifieds.

7:15 p.m. – Bomber feature (20 laps or 20 minutes).

7:35 p.m. – Charger feature (30 laps or 30 minutes).

8 p.m. – Legend Cars feature (20 laps or 20 minutes).

8:25 p.m. – USAC Focus Midget feature (30 laps or 30 minutes).

8:50 p.m. – SMRA Supermodified feature (50 laps).

9:30 p.m. – MetroPCS Super Late Model Spirit of 76 feature (76 laps).

10:10 p.m. – Jet Car burn (total destruction of a junk automobile by a jet-powered dragster).

10:15 p.m. – Fireworks.

Admission:

Adults – $15.

Senior citizens and military personnel with ID – $12.

Kids 6-12 – $5.

Kids 5 and under – Free.

Stockyard – $145.

Free parking.
