
STOCKTON, California — The 2nd Annual Race and Ride for Autism is coming soon. August 21, 2010 will be a day of racing and a motorcycle poker run to raise money and awareness for Autism. Carlos Vieira Racing and Team 51FIFTY will be hosting this event at the New Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton California. They have put up a purse of $3000 to win in the Late Model Division.
Team 51 Fifty team from Livingston, CA. will be showcasing both of the Race for Autism cars. Owner Carlos Vieira will be piloting one of the cars and special guest driver Mike David from Modesto will drive the other. Mike David, 2007 Grand National West Champion, is energized about the opportunity to Race for Autism. “I’m excited for the opportunity to partner up with Carlos to raise money for this great cause. I’m also happy to know that any money that I win will go towards his foundation to help families with Autism”.
There will also be a motorcycle poker run that leaves Vieira’s race shop in Livingston at 12:00 pm. Riders will be stopping at different locations on their way to the race track.
