LAS VEGAS, Nevada — More than 30 Lucas Oil Modifieds are expected Saturday night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as they make their final Las Vegas visit of their 2010 points campaign. Their 75-lap finale will pay double points. Doug “Hound Dog” Hamm, the Bullring’s 2008 Modified champion, currently leads the Lucas Oil Modified Series points chase. Chris Gerchman of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. won the Lucas Oil Modified feature on their last visit to LVMS on May 22.
The MetroPCS Super Late Models will run heat races and a 40-lap feature. Also on Saturday night’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing card are the Bombers, Chargers, Legend Cars and Bandoleros.
Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, featuring $1 hot dogs, $1 soda, $1 beer and additional special offers.
