The Clover Hydro JR Jammer was the race to watch Saturday night, with Caity Miller only 17 points ahead of hard charging Kaleigh Sullivan for the championship. As the day went on and Sullivan seemed to be a no show, Sullivan shows at the track with no car! Her motor apparently blew at the shop, but she came anyway, hoping to get a ride to finish out the season. Johnathon Timms stepped up and let Sullivan borrow his ride.” A big Thank you goes out to Jonathon Timms for his sportsmanship.” So the race was on, both Miller and Sullivan started from the rear of the field in the heat race, and they both got a good jump on the start with Miller taking the lead. They ran nose to tail for the entire race, and on the last lap- last turn, Sullivan got under Miller trying to make the pass for the win and they both touched, sending them sideways down the front straight away. Miller took the Checker Flag sideways over Sullivan. Miller gained 1 more point over Sullivan, meaning that all Miller had to do was start the feature to clinch the Championship. Miller did start the feature and took the lead on the start, but by lap 13 Miller had blown her motor and was done for the event, still winning the Championship by a small margin of 10 points. This was Millers first year in racing; she racked up 6 feature wins, 8 Heat race wins and 3 trophy dash wins, and now the biggest trophy of all, 2010 Clover Hydro JR Jammer Champion. Congratulations Caity Miller. Jackson Long went on to win his second feature event of 2010, leading the final 17 laps, and his third trophy dash. Following Long were Sullivan, Joshua Vasquez, Alisha Herron, Hayley Bishop and Miller.

Clearly, Ellis Thornton was on a mission to win the feature and clinch the Championship. Following E Thornton in the feature were Peterson, Klein, Foley and P Thornton.
