After a hot summer break, the popular ASA-sanctioned road course series is back in action at Inde Motorsports Ranch, an ASA Member Track on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A great variety of cars will be racing.

The fast 410 Winged Sprints will be in action this Friday night on the fast half-mile oval for the Stan Fox Memorial. This will be a great way for dirt racing fans to start off the holiday weekend.

ASA MIDWEST TOUR SUPER LATE MODELS
(Norway Speedway, Norway, MI)
Only two points separate Chris Wimmer and Steve Carlson in the standings with two events remaining on the 2010 schedule. One of those two will happen this Sunday night at Norway Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Norway, MI. Jamie Iverson will be looking for his fourth win in a row in the Labor Day 125 event. It will be a classic race with the Dickinson County Fair as its backdrop.

The 2010 Monster Energy Chase for the Cup at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway is coming down to the wire with several tight points battles to be decided on Saturday night. Saturday night will also be Teacher Appreciation Night, with free grandstand admission for all teachers on Saturday night. Gates will open at 5:00, hot laps at 6:00 and racing at 7:30. Grandstand tickets are free for all teachers, $10 for adults, $6 for juniors (ages 11-15) and free for kids 10 and under. Emotion and adrenaline are working overtime Labor Day weekend at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway. The big boys return Saturday night for one of the final races on the Carbon X Rocky Mountain Challenge Series late model tour with the Pepsi Gem State 75. Also on the card Saturday is the Austin Christopherson Memorial 50 for the Domino's Pizza Legends, another pivotal points race in the ESI Express ASA Modifieds, the Mini Stocks, Tates Rents Hornets and the Spectacular Drags for fans itching for track time. The excitement level doesn't dip for Sunday night's Tates Rents Fan Appreciation Night agenda, though, as the Mtn. Dew Winged Sprintcars, the Pepsi Sprintcars, the College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving School Street Stocks and the Thunder Dogs hit the track. The season's final Westby's Bike Race for Kids also is scheduled. Gates open each night at 4 p.m. with racing at 6:30 p.m. Advance tickets are available at 17 NAPA Auto Parts Stores in the Treasure Valley, eliminating the need to stand in line on race night. Saturday's admission is $12 for adults, $9.50 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID and $8 for children ages 7-11. Sunday's ticket prices are $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and military, $6 for ages 7-11. Children 6 and younger get in free both nights.

Orange Show Speedway will kick off an exciting September schedule this Saturday (September 4) with the Super Late Models, Team Too Pony Stocks, Pick-A-Part Street Stocks, Interstate Batteries Factory Fours, Budweiser Legends Cars, Tour Trucks and M.C. Erectors Bandoleros. Reigning champion Mark Shackleford took a nibble off Davis Ross's lead in the Super Late Models standings, but still is 28 behind with just two races left. The Factory Fours have the most interesting battle going, with reigning champ Dwayne Blay and Kim Marzullo tied for the third time this season and two races to go. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. PDT with the first race at 7 pm.

Rocky Mountain Raceways, an ASA member track, is set to host a full weekend of racing with ASA Weekly Racing on Saturday, September 4 and Dooms Day Trailer Races on Monday, September 6. Young Automotive Sprints, Super Stocks, Ford Focus Midgets, Hornets, Figure-8 Cars and Western States Equipment Figure-8 Trains will hit the track on Saturday, September 4. As the Young Automotive Sprints wind down their season, Jimmy Waters has a 2 point lead over Jimmy Wysong. The two have been battling all season and showing race enthusiasts what open-wheel racing is all about. Rocky Mountain Raceways will host the wildest day of racing on Monday, September 6 with the Dooms Day Trailer Races. Participants will tow their crazy contraptions around the figure-8 course and the racer that has completed the most laps intact will claim the checkered flag. Best Design and Masters of Disaster will also be awarded. Gates open at 4 p.m., qualifying begins at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Adult admission is $15 on Saturday and $12 on Monday. Youth admission is $5 on Saturday and $10 on Monday.

Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway will host WIGO Championship Night this Saturday September 4th. It will be the last point race of the season for all four of the track's Virginia Army National Guard Dirt Series divisions. The night's activities will include the Victory Lap Late Models, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars in Virginia Army National Guard Dirt Series action. Competitor gates for Saturday, September 4th will open at 4pm with spectator gates opening at 6pm. On track activities will begin at 6:30pm with hot laps.
