
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — It's the first weekend of racing in October and there is plenty of ASA Racing happening across the United States. Three ASA Series will be crowning their 2010 champions. Here is a look what is happening at American Speed Association Member Tracks and Series.

ISCARS DASH TOURING SANCTIONED BY ASA
(Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, SC)
The 2010 season will come to a close this Saturday night at the famous oval. Danny Bagwell comes into the event with a 145-point lead over Todd Hawkes with two 50-lap feature events scheduled. The Super Cup Series and East Coast Flat Head Fords will also be in action. Time Trials at 6:15 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m. Adults $10; Children $5, Under Age 10 are free.

ASA MIDWEST SPORTSMAN TOUR
(Elko Speedway, Elko, MN)
The first ever ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour champion will be crowned this Saturday night. Chris Marek holds a 26-point lead over Jay Kalbus as they will battle it out in a 40-lap feature event.

ASA INTERSTATE RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CAR SERIES
(Dodge County Fairgrounds, Beaver Dam, WI)
The season finale for the 410 Winged Sprint cars is this Saturday night on the fast 1/2-mile clay oval located just outside of Beaver Dam, WI. Billy Balog will be looking to wrap up the championship over Scotty Neitzel.

ORANGE SHOW SPEEDWAY
(San Bernardino, CA)
Saturday night (October 2), when the JAM Sportswear Late Models, Pick-A-Part Street Stocks, Interstate Batteries Factory Fours, Pro 4s and Stock OHV Karts wrap up their campaigns and a Drag Boat race brings Matco Tools Night to a conclusion, the youngest champion of all could be crowned. This Saturday (October 2), when Matco Tools will be entertaining customers and employes and providing prizes for the racers, also will feature and appearance by the ??? Corvette Club. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m., qualifying will get under way at about 5:15 and the first race is at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors (60 and older), students 11 to 18 and military personnel with valid identification. Children 10 and under are admitted free. A Family Pack, which includes admission for four plus a hot dog and small soft drink for each person, is priced at $45. The 23rd Annual Fall Classic is this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's action will get underway at noon with qualifying followed by racing. The NW Pro 4 will have a 100-lap main event that day. On Sunday, racing will get underway at 1:00 p.m. The Super Late Model Fall Classic 200-lap feature will highlight the afternoon of racing. Street Stocks will have a 75-lap feature event and the Hobby Stocks will have a 50-lap feature.
