Branden Underwood driver of the #28 Dodge Dakota ASA Truck gains a lot of attention by leading his first ASA Truck Series for the first 25 laps at Havasu 95 Speedway this past weekend..
Underwood qualified 4th place and raced in the Trophy Dash Saturday Night to finish 3rd place. It was an exciting night of racing at the Havasu 95 Speedway in the main event when Underwood lead 25 laps at the beginning of the 100 lap race. After several cautions in the race it came down to 3 laps left for an exciting restart and Underwood finished the night 3rd place overall out of 14 trucks. Underwood had a big smile on his face when he came into the pits after the race and commented "it was an awesome feeling being in the lead for the first 25 laps of the race, the truck was great at the beginning but my right rear tire was burned up! I did my best and I didn't want to give it up and fought every lap to stay up front!" Underwood will be heading to Blythe I-10 Speedway on October 30th for the last race of the year!
