1. Who do you consider as the toughest competitor on the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series?
If there was 10 laps to go in a race and I was running second. I would have to say Kanke or Pettit would be tough to get by. Their consistency is there…No mistakes.
But I wouldn’t underestimate anyone by any means the competition is pretty stout.
2. What track has become your favorite on the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series circuit?
Irwindale and Vegas
3. If you were to invite a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver to your house for Christmas dinner, whom would you most likely invite? And why?
Joe Farre. He has plenty of laughs and gets along with everyone. He would probably be able to get along with those annoying relatives no one can talk to.
4. If you had to choose another competitor’s car to drive in a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series race, who’s would you choose to drive?
Joe Farre #54 or Auggie Vidovich’s #1 car.
5. If you could add a racetrack to the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series, which is currently not on the schedule, what track would you add?
Phoenix or Iowa
6. Which SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver would you least want to have an argument with after a race?
Jim Pettit
7. What is your favorite part of the off-season?
Getting to spend quality time with my family.
8. Where will you spend the holidays?
With my family in Lakeport
9. What was your highlight of the 2010 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series?
Besides the fact that Bob Strandwold gave me the opportunity to race this year, setting the 4 track records and winning 2 races
10. What are your current 2011 plans for your race team?
Looking back on 2010 I can’t thank Bob Strandwold, Junior Joiner, Dan Smith, my parents and about 20 others that made racing even possible this year. We had a lot of success this year and with the addition of SP Crankshafts in 2011 it should be a great year in the SRL.
