Jim Pettit. His natural ability, team and desire to win. This man defines the gold standard of the SRL. You might be able to beat him on a bad day, but when he is on, he is on!
2. What track has become your favorite on the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series circuit?
Vegas! You just have to love your hometown crowd!
3. If you were to invite a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver to your house for Christmas dinner, whom would you most likely invite? And why?
Derek Thorn. You just have to love the kid’s passion for the game.
4. If you had to choose another competitor’s car to drive in a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series race, who’s would you choose to drive?
Mike Kanke's ride. He knows how to make the conventional set up work like a master.
5. If you could add a racetrack to the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series, which is currently not on the schedule, what track would you add?
Phoenix. It would be nice to see the tour cars back on a bigger track.
6. Which SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver would you least want to have an argument with after a race?
Dan Holtz. He's too nice of a guy.
7. What is your favorite part of the off-season?
Spending time with the kids on the weekends. It makes up for the long summer weekends on the road.
8. Where will you spend the holidays?
At home in Las Vegas with the family.
9. What was your highlight of the 2010 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series?
Leading the race at Las Vegas. Wow, was that car hooked up!
10. What are your current 2011 plans for your race team?
Big plans in the works! Can't wait to deliver a few surprises in 2011.
