1. Who do you consider as the toughest competitor on the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series?
"I'd like another try at Sears Point."— MK Kanke
There's so many tough competitors, that's what makes this series so good. The toughest guys are a threat everywhere we go and we have quite a few of those: for example, Jim Pettit, Jonathon Gomez and even occasional competitors like Dan Holtz.
2. What track has become your favorite on the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series circuit?
I like all of them, but I really enjoy the challenge of Stockton.
3. If you were to invite a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver to your house for Christmas dinner, whom would you most likely invite? And why?
The Voigts - Greg and his wife are laid-back family people and have a good sense of humor.
4. If you had to choose another competitor’s car to drive in a SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series race, who’s would you choose to drive?
Jim Pettit's - our driving styles are so different, I'd like to see if I could get his car around one of his stronger tracks, like Madera. Though I would take off the power steering.
5. If you could add a racetrack to the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series, which is currently not on the schedule, what track would you add?
Mesa Marin...still miss it! I'd like another try at Sears Point.
6. Which SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series driver would you least want to have an argument with after a race?
Well, I don't want to have an argument with anyone...racing's fun, right?
7. What is your favorite part of the off-season?
Same as the on-season...hanging out with family and friends, getting ready for the next race.
8. Where will you spend the holidays?
This year was a little different. I spent it in the hospital and at home on the couch recuperating from hip replacement surgery. Ho ho ho.
9. What was your highlight of the 2010 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series?
Winning 4 times against such a tough field of cars and drivers.
10. What are your current 2011 plans for your race team?
Competing against the best in the SRL once again and helping Cale and Danny as they gain more racing experience.
