EAST BAY WINTERNATIONALS & PROAUTOSPORTS BANQUET HEADLINE THIS WEEKEND IN ASA

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — One ASA Member Track kicks off its 2011 season on Thursday and one ASA Series will celebrate their 2010 season on Friday night. Here is a look at what is happening this weekend within the ASA family.

EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK (Tampa, FL)

The 35th Annual Winternationals kicks off this Thursday night with the Open Wheel Modifieds and Mod Lites in action. Those same divisions will also be in action on Friday and Saturday night with the feature winner taking home $5,000. They do have a three-day general & reserved seating package for $60.

Other Winternational events include: Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models February 7-12, 360 Sprints/Florida Mini Sprints February 16-19, and the NeSmith Late Models & World Street Stocks February 23-26.

PROAUTOSPORTS

ASA's top road racing series will honor their 2010 champions this Friday night at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Chandler, AZ. Schedule includes Kart Racing from 4:30-6:00 p.m. with dinner and awards from 6-8 p.m. 2010 Champions to be honored include: Bobby Hillis (GTO), Bryan McCormick (GTU), Frant Root (PS0), Robert Dopp (PS1), Carl Scott (PS2), Jay Horak (PS3), Jere Clark (PS3), Rich Stokes (PS4), Rick Elliot (CSR), Jens Ploughmann (EFF), Mike Williams (FC), Kelly Gallant (FM), John Fitzgerald (FST), Connor Pyle (LGD).
