Andrew Myer’s dominating performance in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown came to an end on lap 191 of the 225 lap feature. Qualifying 18th Andrew drove a flawless first segment to end up in 2nd place at the break. Justin Holechek and the team elected not to change anything on the car. On the re-start Andrew drove to the bottom and came out of turn 2 in the lead. He continued to stretch out his lead during the second segment at times having up to a 5 second lead over the second place car before a cut tire relegated him to the pits and the loss of a lap in the process. Andrew was able to get his lap back and finish in the 13th spot on the lead lap.

“I want to thank my crew, sponsors and my fans for making this run possible” said Andrew. “This car was perfect and I could put it anywhere on the track” he added. It was a good thing that he could put it anywhere because he had to as he threaded his way through lapped traffic. “I thought that blue and yellow flag meant the leader was coming” he joked.

Pacific High Reach, Eagle Transportation, Pro-Cast Products, Pepe’s Snacks, Jan’s Towing and Metal Tek Fabrication sponsored the # 77 Performance Motorsports Ford Fusion.” Special thanks goes to J & M Racing.
