Tucson, Arizona Native Alex Bowman Took Another Step In His Stock Car Racing Career Last Week With A Test With Toyota At The Famed Hickory Motor Speedway In Hickory, NC. For the past four years Alex has raced in USAC series all around the country, but wasnt until last year that he started racing late models and USAR ProCup cars. In 2011, it may be all stock car racing for Alex Bowman who handled this week's Toyota East Series and Nationwide test like a true veteran.
Line-X Spray-on Bedliners adorned the Toyota Camry as primary sponsor, which marks the first time the company has ventured onto a stock car as Line-X gave Toyota their first win in the now Camping World Truck Series in 2004. Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt DiBenedetto was also there coaching as well as taking a few laps, with origianl TRD driver Robert Huffman and Mark McFarland as the crew chiefs.
