The “SPEARS MANUFACTURING 111” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway">The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will mark the start of the 11th season of the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series. Saturday night, April 2nd will be the sixth SRL appearance at The Bullring, in the series’ history. The weekend’s race line up will also feature the NASCAR Super Late Models (40 laps), NASCAR Chargers (twin 25-lap features), NASCAR Bombers (25 laps), SRL Legend Cars (20 laps), Bandoleros (12 laps), Thunder Roadsters (20 laps).

One of the largest fields in SRL history will be on hand for Saturday’s event. Thirty-one SRL teams have submitted entries for the SPEARS MANUFACTURING 111.

• Four former SPEARS Southwest Tour Series champions have submitted entries for the SPEARS MANUFACTURING 111. Dave Byrd – 2007, Jim Pettit II – 2008, M.K. Kanke – 2009, and Jonathon Gomez – 2010.
• The SPEARS MANUFACTURING 111 will be the first of three stops for the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series at the Bullring in 2011.
• PAST SRL ‘BULLRING’ WINNERS – Bear Rzenowiecky (Nov. 2008), M.K. Kanke (May 2009), Josh Combs (Oct. 2009), Derek Thorn (May 2010), and Jim Pettit (Oct. 2010).
• Winner’s share of the prize money will be $4,000, which includes the Superior Crankshaft Winner’s Bonus.

• The weekend will also feature the first race of the SRL Legends Tour 2011 point championship.
