UKIAH, California — The annual “Playday” at the Ukiah Speedway scheduled
"Seagulls are attracted to the deep water in the Ukiah Speedway infield."
for March 27th was canceled due to rain. Playday has been moved to
April 2nd and Opening Night will be held on April 9th.
The North State Racing Association will hold a Ukiah Speedway Car Show at the Yokayo Bowling Center parking lot from 10am to 2pm. Race fans are encouraged to come meet and greet the drivers at the car show and see all the pre-season paint jobs.
After the car show the Ukiah Speedway track will be open for Playday
practice from 2pm to 6pm. All drivers who bring their car to the Car
Show will get into Playday for only $5.
Grandstand entry for the car show and Playday is free to the public.
The Airport Auto Brokers Late Model event that was scheduled for April 2 has be moved to it's rain date on April 9. Other classes running that night will be the modifieds, the Airport Auto Brokers Legends Cars, Bandoleros and the Bud Bombers.
