The Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets continue their 71st season, attacking the pavement of the fast 3/8ths mile Shasta Raceway Park April 2. This is the first of 9 pavement races on their 2011 schedule.
Headlining the show is the pavement driver of 2010 Chad Nichols in his own #17n Beast/Esslinger. Challenging Chad will be 2010 Champion Nick Foster Jr. in Jim Fowlers #1 Beast/Esslinger, 2009 Rookie of the Year Nick Chivello in Cliff Blackwell’s #27b Beast/Esslinger, 7 time BCRA Champion Floyd Alvis in his #18 Stealth/Van Dyne, Travis Berryhill in Paul Eskesen's #10c Beast/Mopar, 2010 Rookie of the Year Dillon Silverman in the RAM Racing #4a Spike/EcoTec, Darin Snider in father Lauren Snider’s #2k Stewart/Mopar and Floyd Alvis’s #83 Stealth/Brayton with the driver to be announced.
Also expected are the cars owned by track promoter Rick Faeth, the #2 TCR/V4 driven by Devin LeHorgue and the #3 Stealth/V4 driven by himself.
