April 2nd is set to be Devon Ostheimer’s debut in the Auto Club Late Model division at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale with High Point Racing. After starting racing at a young age, Ostheimer is working on polishing his career in hopes of reaching the top tier of NASCAR someday; with the stats backing him up already at the age of 17, this kid’s future looks very promising.

Devon started racing at the age of 7 years old, and has accumulated quite the résumé. In 10 years of racing, he has won the Grand National Championship for quarter midgets, 3 Micto 600 Championships, and wins in Wingless and Winged Injected 360 spring cars. He has raced at many different tracks including the famed Silver Dollar Speedway, Ocean Speedway, Petaluma Speedway, and Antioch Speedway.
Along with his growing racing career, Devon is currently in 11th grade at Ann Sobrato High School and plans on majoring in Business. As for racing goals, Devon hopes to someday compete in any of NASCAR’s top divisions.
Devon is teaming up with High Point Racing in 2011 and hopes to continue the successful run the car he will be driving already has. He will be driving the #57 and his cars name is “Allstar”, the same car team owner Tim Huddleston drove to his 2008 championship and 2010 Toyota Allstar victory.
