All of the seats are filled for the upcoming season at Irwindale Speedway. In the Vista Paint Super Stocks Division, Rich DeLong III will be returning in the #84 DRI/FreckledHound.com Chevy Impala SS, to defend his 2010 championship. He will be joined by newcomer to the team, Eric Sunness, who will be piloting the DRI/Sunness Automotive Chevy Camaro and is expected to give Rich DeLong III stiff competition for the 2011 championship. Also returning this season will be Jason DeLong, 2010 Super Stock Rookie-of-the-Year, in the #64 DRI/Progressive Painting brand-new Chevy Impala SS. Rounding out the powerhouse team will be rookie-of-the-year candidate, Michael Parr, driving the #44 DRI/FreckledHound.com Chevy Camaro.
Rich DeLong III will also be piloting the #84 Chevy S-10 King Taco Super Truck.
DeLong Racing, Inc will also field the #64 Pepsi Super Late Model for selected races, being shared by Rich DeLong III and Late Model championship contender, Darren Cheek.
Our Open Comp program will feature several drivers in several different cars. Rich DeLong III will also be returning for four tries at victory in this division. Toyota Speedway announcer, Jason Galvin, will be making two attempts to better his amazing effort in his first-ever start, which resulted in a top five finish. Our rookie for this division will be our feisty and eager to prove herself female, Nicole DeLong, making her first-ever start in stock cars. Crew chief, Ward Fisher, and car owner, Rich DeLong Jr., will also try their hand back in the driver seat for a shot at victory.
