DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — April will be a busy month as many ASA Member Tracks and Series will open their 2011 season. The first weekend will be busy as the ASA NSRA Winged Sprint Car Series will have their opener along with two ASA Member Tracks having their season openers.
Here is a look at what is happening in ASA Racing this weekend.
ASA NORTHWEST SPRINTCAR RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CAR SERIES
(Evergreen Speedway, Monroe, WA)
Andy Alberding will start his defense of his 2010 championship on the fastest track the series competes on this Saturday night as the fast winged sprint cars will challenge the 5/8-mile oval. This is one race not to miss.

ASA MEMBER TRACKS
ACE SPEEDWAY (Altamahaw, NC)
Ace will host the USAR Pro Cup Series this Friday night with the running of the Whites International Trucks 250. The Mini Trucks and Street Stocks will also be in action. Qualifying will get underway at 4:30pm with an autograph session at 7:00pm. The 250-lap event will get underway at 8:00pm.

CORPUS CHRISTI SPEEDWAY (Corpus Christi, TX)
The 2011 season opener is this Saturday night with the Front Runners, TX Thunders, Bombers, Super Street, Sport Mods, and Dwarf Cars in action. Gates open at 6:00pm with racing at 8:00pm.

DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL)
THE BUSES ARE BACK!!! A full racing program is scheduled for this Saturday night with School Bus Races highlighting the action. The Open Wheel Modifieds, Mod-Minis, Bombers, Pure Stocks and Legends will also be racing. Gates open at 5:00pm with Racing at 7pm.

DILLON MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Dillon, SC)
The PASS South Carolina Clash 150 has been re-scheduled for this Saturday starting at 6pm. This event was rained out last weekend. The CCS Sportsman, Legends, Bandoleros, Mini Cup Mods, and Allison Legacy cars will be in action.

EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK (Tampa, FL)
ASA sanctioned racing returns to East Bay Raceway Park on Saturday, April 2, 2011. The program will include Late Models, East Bay Sprints, Street Stocks, Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers, Dirt Daubers and Fan Participation races. Racing gets underway at 6:30pm.

LONESOME PINE RACEWAY (Coeburn, VA)
The 2011 season opens this Saturday night with Food City at the Pine night. The Late Models, Chargers, Pure 4's, Mod 4's, Street Stocks, and Renegades will be in action.
Racing gets underway at 7pm. Show your Food City Valucard at the front gate or your ticket stub from the April 1 event at Kingsport Speedway, you will get 1/2 off the adult ticket price!!!

RED RIVER SPEEDWAY (Wichita Falls, TX)
There will be racing action on Friday and Saturday night this weekend. The Legends, Bandolero's, Mod 4's, and all local classes will be in action. Main gate opens at 6pm with racing at 8pm.
