
All off season the rumors have flowed of a new division at Lakeport Speedway, behind closed doors drivers wrenched on new cars set to debut this weekend at Lakeport Speedway during the 2011 Founders Cup Night. The energy and excitement is in the air, it is boiling from behind every bar in the county, and is the talk at all the resturants in Lake County. This weekend at Lakeport Speedway will be the debut of the most talked about new division in years at any track on the west coast. It is the debut of the Lake County Off Road Extreme Asphalt Outlaws with the best of the best setting to race their cars for the first time. Come out to the races on Saturday to check out the full field of outlaws taking the track for the first time this season.
Also running on Saturday are the Coors Light Modifieds with the blistering hot Collins rookies in the Modified division will be back again this week to take on all the sly veterans at the speedway. There was a look of bewilderment on the faces of all the vetrans standing in staging during the post qualifying inspection of the Collins car, not sure how the rookie just beat them al. This week it will be the veterans turn to try and set the track record, or Will Charlie Collins track record stand. Who will be the next driver to claim the checkers in the hotly contested modified field. This modified field is the most electricfing field of drivers that the speedway ever has had, and has most of the best drivers on the west coast competing on a weekly basis.
The Clover Hydro Jammers, the Taco Bell Bombers, and the Rental Solution Mini Stocks will also be competing in a full set of races for the evening. Racing starts at 6:30 and the gates open at 5:00. Bring the kids out to the races and have them get there early and sign up for the junior trophy presenters at the Lakeport Speedway souviner booth.
