JASON FENSLER – WINNING AT ALL AMERICAN

IRWINDALE, California — Team Cass Racing’s Jason Fensler, driver of the No. 59 TCR/Pick N Pull/Simple Green Chevy Impalla stayed out of late trouble racing at the Toyota/NAPA AutoCare 150 at All American Speedway last Saturday night. His patient but aggressive driving resulted in his first 2011 season win in the K&N Pro Series West division.

"Game plan for the race was to take care of the car, run our own race and take what we could get for a finish. "

When speaking with Jason Fensler on the race event he states, “Qualifying was disappointing as the Pick N Pull, Simple Green, MTFX Graphics Chevy just didn’t have any speed for qualifying and we ended up 15th”.

“Game plan for the race was to take care of the car, run our own race and take what we could get for a finish. Early stages of the race were uneventful as we picked our way up to the top ten early. Midpoint of the race the car was decent, but we were lacking forward grip on the exits. As we moved ourselves into 5th place I was real happy as this was going to be a solid run starting from 15th. In the closing laps the top 3 began to battle it out and that brought us to their rear bumper. A caution with ten or so to go lined us up in third place. I knew I had one shot at trying to get out front from the second row inside. We took the green and I ducted low off two turn making a run at the leader. Going into 3 Justin, our spotter said three wide as I had drawn even with the leader and second. We cleared them by turn two with 6 laps remaining and knew I had to run 5 hard laps to stay out front. The Pick N Pull, Simple Green, MTFX Graphics Chevy stayed under me as we drove to victory”.

When asking Jason what was the first thing you thought of when you crossed that finish line? “I felt a since of accomplishment on getting Jim and Terri Cass and the entire TCR racing team a victory”. Crew chief, Roger Bracken shares, “The race went great! I felt we didn’t have the fastest car, but we had a great driver!”

Team owner’s Jim and Terri Cass would like to publicly give a huge thanks to our crew chief Roger Bracken for giving us a great car for the race, special thanks to Rene'a Bracken for all the public relations and her hard work which is more stuff then we will ever know. Thanks to the best driver ever...Jason Fensler, our crew...God I love our crew, they are the best crew ever...To NASCAR, for the opportunity to race in this division.
